...someone over an issue that i'm actually glad for. i feel like a bad person, trying to tell them that it will be fine when in reality i really hope it'll crash. like absolutely 100% sign me up for that shit.


they're a good person and don't deserve to be sad (however brief it would be. oh, hey, look at me making excuses). but i'm still sitting here crossing my fingers for entirely selfish reasons. ugh.

I don't think that makes you a bad person.

You're entitled to your feelings and wishes and hopes the same as everybody else. So long as you're supporting your friend through this hardship and you aren't actively causing it to crash behind the scenes, no matter how badly you may wish for that, then you're fine.
