Define "overweight": how much?

Use whatever definition makes most sense to you - that's why I left it blank.

What I had in mind I guess is visibly and notably overweight people, but I'm interested in whatever responses people have.

NAYRT

But that's the thing. At low levels of medically overweightedness, there's a wide range where due to body composition you literally can't tell from looking at someone if they're technically, medically overweight or not, but they could be. By two pounds or something.

Are we also counting hardcore athletes and bodybuilding types as overweight? Because they visibly are and lots find that type attractive.

If that's what you think of when you hear "overweight", then sure.

I know there's a lot of complicated issues around 'normal' weight but that's really just not what I'm asking about. My lack of interest in that conversation is why I didn't try to define it myself.

I'm just saying, I don't think I could honestly answer "no" to "are you EVER attracted to overweight people" for those reasons, and neither could most people because it's not like people have counters over their heads informing you that they're technically half a pound overweight so it's a moot question to ask.

That's more than fair. But I mean I'm not trying to entrap anyone here or trick them. I'm interested in what people have to say. If your answer is "well, you can never really tell who's technically overweight, but generally I'm not" that's a totally valid answer. Whatever the question means to you.
