Holiday Parties

Any interesting stories you have from them?

I went to one this week, well it was actually a "happy hour" event for my team which was nice. My supervisor gave us the Oreo trick: put an Oreo on the top of your forehead, then try to get the Oreo into your mouth without using your hands. Coworker that won was very persistent by twitching her face muscles to work the Oreo down then sticking her tongue out to get it in. Was pretty 'oh good lord' at that point. Thankfully I don't drink.

I wonder if I could do the Oreo thing but can't eat gluten :(

Any biscuit of similar shape would work. I positive I'm seen things similar to Oreos in the gluten free aisle. If not, get two gluten free crackers and put a spread in the middle for a savory substitute.

I had a tiny New Year's Eve party with a neighbor, we played a drinking game with a zombie-themed board game. Every time one of your characters (=your pawns) die, you'd drink a vodka shot. We all got very drunk and it was hilarious. Especially seeing my brother lose two characters in a row.

I once played that CSI board game with friends one summer while we were drinking at her cottage. It is VERY HARD to solve crimes when you are super drunk. XD

My workplace has banned alcohol from all events, which is great because it means I don't have to talk to drunk people. I actually had a nice time at the party. There are a number of my coworkers I wish I could hang out with in a casual context more often.
