Yea, and it was apparent from the start! I enjoyed that too. Personally, I'm fine with AOS Star Trek looking shiny, but the grittiness felt natural for SW.

Yesssss. Everyone felt real and interesting.
It took some very different decisions than the EU did and that's interesting
One of the first things I heard when walking out of the theater was some guy going, "Have you read the books? Might as well not, this obliterated those." lol
As for Sith/Jedi, I'm ready. So ready. BRING ON ALL THE LIGHTSABER BATTLES. BRING ON THE STRUGGLE BETWEEN LIGHT AND DARK. IDC, JUST BRING IT.
