There is a lot of things Fandom does that I really doubt JRR Tolkien would have liked. I remember back in my first t time in fandom how some anti-slashers would bring up his theoretical disapproval of slash. As much as I was on the "He's dead, his opinion doesn't matter" side, I don't think they were wrong, and I think he would think mpreg is ridiculous to the point of being offensive... but again, it doesn't matter because he died before he had to be exposed to the indignity of fanfic.

Besides, most of the time I don't mind mpreg.
