My heating pad has an auto cut off after an hour. So I have to wake up randomly at night to cut it back on (trying to get my eyelid to unswell so I don't have to visit a doctor).

I really wish mine had an auto off. I gave myself second degree burns accidentally falling asleep while using it.

I find it odd it doesn't! Is it an older heating pad? I think all the newer ones have auto shutoff for safety.

I think it is. It was my mother's, so it probably was older.
