I agree tbh, and I work at a psych agency. Short of being in desperate circumstances, I don't think a well-adjusted, stable and otherwise "normal" individual is going to murder people a bunch of people. That is a very irregular behavior, obviously, and indicative of something gone wrong.

And, as someone who works with clients who are extremely high risk to themselves and others, nothing is more annoying than the white-knight protesting that mentally ill people don't commit crimes. First off, it's a gross misunderstanding of mental illness - which CAN NOT be lumped together into one group, that'd be like comparing an amputee to someone with cancer to someone with a cold to someone who burned themselves on the stove. And second, there are mentally ill people who are prone to aggression. Certain mental illnesses lend themselves to that, it's just a fact.
