Golden Age Wonder Woman is my favorite.

I'm not very fond of proud warrior Wonder Woman showing up and wrecking everybody, I like her as a peaceful and cheerful diplomat exploring a new culture enthusiastically, yet improving upon its flaws and righting injustices with the skills and talents she's learned from her utopian society.

It's not exactly the hip thing, but Golden Age Wonder Woman was fun and exciting, and so much of her stories in recent years are just so dreary and serious.

Ditto! Then again, I'm generally more a fan of the goofy, zany, cheesy Golden/Silver Age superhero comics than the modern gritty angsteriffic GRIMDARK stuff.

That's not to say that there are no superhero comics I like being made now, but regarding Wonder Woman specifically? I have yet to come across a Wonder Woman story written in the last fifteen years that I enjoyed reading. It's sad, because there's so much you can do with a character like her.

I really liked the silly tech her people had. "We will use the PURPLE RAY."

Also she had Etta Candy, who is objectively the best.
