Re: Unpopular opinion thread

Relating to these kind of threads. I don't know if it's just me,but I feel like some people don't get that opinions can be unpopular for good reasons. I feel like in a lot of conversations and even blogs dedicated to "unpopular opinions" people come in with this assumption that their opinion being unpopular is because other people are just too shallow stupid silly or wrong to realize it.

I recall browsing through the tumblr blog "the unpopular opinions" and finding a lot of genuinely hateful shit with a few kernals of gold among it. In fact the reason I don't read that blog anymore is because of some of the hateful shit I've seen.
