eBay sellers

I've opened a case in resolution centre for a non received item and in every message they keep asking me to close the case. Which I'm not going to do because there goes my buyer protection.

I've agreed to wait 10 more days. But I'm not going to close the case cause that's not a resolution? Idk the nagging is kind of annoying. I'm going to wait and if not back in 10 days ask for a refund and when I get that THEN I'll close my case. But not before then :/

Some buyers are assholes like that, they want you to close the case so it's not a black mark on their record. Stick to your guns and be clear about what you want in order to consider the case closed. I once bought an item that came with a (non-removable) stain that wasn't in the description OR the photos and the seller tried to bully and abuse me when I brought it up. I was getting hatemail from a middle aged lady, mind you! Unfortunately for her, I had pictures of the stain and she couldn't dispute the fact that she'd left it out of the item description. I straight up told her that yelling at me wasn't going to solve anything, and in the end she caved, apologized for losing her temper, and refunded my money.

I've told them very simply that I'll close the case when I get my item or, after the agreed 10 days wait have passed, I request a refund. Seems to have stopped them asking to close it!

Now where is my item? Appears to be some dodgy ec-first class tracking site.
