Re: first world problems
(Anonymous) 2015-12-21 09:05 am (UTC)(link)My father and I are planning to give each other money and then go shopping together, and since I'm spending Christmas out of town, I decided I'd mail him a nice Christmas card with the money in it. I thought it would be nice for something to arrive right on Christmas Eve for him to open.
Except I forgot to put postage on the card. :(
It will probably just get sent back to me, but I'm freaking out that it will somehow get lost or thrown away completely, and then I'll be out a hundred dollars. (I know, I know, stupid to put $100 cash in the mail.) Fuck my life.
