From what Simon Pegg and George Takei have said, that trailer is doing one hell of disservice to that film. So it sounds like it's gonna be more Star Treky than the last film was, just that trailer marketing team decided to use most of the action scenes.

I hope so. I really, really hope so. Because that trailer did not make me want to see the movie at all.
