I will keep these in mind! I love science fiction so Kate's stuff sounds awesome.

They were such a nightmare to record that the drummer retreated into his drug habit and left the band maybe forever.

Wow, that's pretty damn dark... poor guy. I hope he manages to kick the habit.

I would probably feel bad for enjoying it too, but...it's his job, and he would probably want people to appreciate his work even if the experience of creating it was a destructive one.
