[8 out of 10 Cats]

Oddly enough, Ifeel the opposite. Can't stand the regular show, and news panel comedies just depress me now we have the world's first self-parodying government. I'd rather see Cats Does Countdown instead.

Well, the news can be a bit depressing, but that's why I like seeing comedians poke fun at it. I'm not a fan of gameshows in general though, so that aspect of Cats Does Countdown bores me.

Clever secret design!

I strongly disagree. The word and number stuff is clever and fun, and it's always interesting to see which guests are good at it and which guests are actively uninterested.

The panel game snark stuff is really boring to me these days because most days, it just feels boring and rehearsed and un-spontaneous. Like, all right, line up, make your jokes, go.

It was fun and interesting at first, but now it feels like the same old thing every time. Jon's good at math and words, but isn't even trying because then he'd win every single time, Sean continues to be crap at both words and math, hardly any of the guests are good at it either. Same old "durrr no can brain today" jokes, too.

I am surprised to say I agree with you. I *loved* the first few countdowns they did, found them hilarious, and actually love the whole countdown game (word puzzles + comedy?? HEAVEN), but they went way too far, I think. Jon always pretending to have nines, Joe's entire Bit, the uncomfortable gay jokes throughout (??)....I can do without all that. I'll be glad to see normal Cats come back.

I thought it was the same 3-4 charity episodes on repeat, and I'd been avoiding them because I thought I'd already seen them. I had no idea they'd done a whole year of them.

Well, don't I feel silly.
