I wouldn't have seen it if OP didn't point out that his fingers look weird, but I think what they mean might be that the ends of his fingers (where the fingernails are) look thicker than the rest of the finger? Usually the fingers become thinner towards the fingertips, but his look rather like he has some bumps there.

It's just my guess though, I'm also curious about what OP *actually* meant.

From what I see, he has clubbing of his fingers. Which can actually be a sign of lung/cardiac pathology. Huh.
