I didn't quite hate it, but after the hype about Miraculous Ladybug on Tumblr, even after it started actually airing, I was soooooo underwhelmed that the underwhelmingness itself almost makes me hate it. At the very least I'm surprised Tumblr is so in love with a show where the female protagonist's only personality trait is "has crush on boy."

I'm with you. I was cautiously hopeful at first, for it to be cute if nothing else, but it's so very cookie-cutter. The only part I like is that her superpower manifests as transforming into random shit, and she then has to figure out how to use it. That's cute, even if it's a bit of a stretch most times.
