This is why everyone thinks you're stupid and probably an aspie. Nothing about this analogy makes sense or has anything to do with smartphones.

A coffee can could serve the same purpose as a toilet--much like a smartphone can serve the same purpose a map or a laptop would. Neither the coffee can nor the smartphone are true replacements for the toilet or the laptop.

Does that make sense now?

No, because that's stupid. A smartphone isn't anything more than a tiny handheld computer. It's perfectly serviceable as a map device. You just can't use one right, because you're a moron.
