But Boyega is so ugly...

Kylo Ren is even uglier tbh (handsome ugly if you ask me, Boyega is cute ugly).

Adam Driver is breathtakingly unattractive for an actor. Boyega is just eh.

But the truth is that even if you find the cast of the original movies attractive, they aren't really that good looking overall.

Someone in our theater said "oh my god, put it back!" when he took off his mask. I laughed.

Adam Driver is fucking ugly but he's a damn good actor. John Boyega is plain looking but also a damn good actor.

I hoestly thought that was the point to Kylo Ren? That he's supposed to look a bit like a whiny, awkward manchild.

Honestly none of the dudes in the new Star Wars impressed me that much looks wise (Rey is cute, though), but then looks is not really why I'm going to see this movie anyway.

I thought so, too. And I think he really looks like he could be related to the people he's related to, so that's a plus, imo.

Not everyone can be a perfect airbrushed supermodel with an ungodly level of facial symmetry.

No, he's pretty ugly. You just can't say it because people will accuse you of being racist even though he's really the only ugly black celebrity aside from that SNL chick on Ghostbusters.

IDK, he looks ordinary to me. But then again, I live in the real world and am used to looking at ordinary, average people who don't have especially attractive facial features and are just totally unremarkable.

Yeah I think that's it...he's, plain? But we expect slightly more from Hollywood.

But do we expect more from Star Wars? Star Wars never really was known for casting only the Hollywood brand of super hot and smoking - the cast has always been a bit on the plain side.

Me personally, no. As I said in another comment, that's not what I go see Star Wars for.

I don't *need* to be attracted to the protagonists. I liked the characters, I liked the movie, I want to see it again, I'm excited for the next one - so in my book it's an absolute win.

Frankly for me the could all be burn victims and I'd still go see it because Star Wars.

But to say they're AMAZINGLY JAW-DROPPINGLY HOLLYWOOD GORGEOUS OMG is just dishonest.

What? Boyega is average. If you want to see an ugly black celeb who is well known try Jay Z

Jay-Z isn't quite so bad when he's all by himself and you have no one to compare him to, but when standing next to Beyonce he looks like an evil troll from another dimension.

This made me LOL. And I'm thinking it should be a movie.

Yeah, but you know, one might argue that the majority of people would look like troll next to Beyoncé.

...he looks like a pretty normal guy. I mostly think he's adorable because he's so fun and charming in the interviews and in the film itself.

He's not omg swoon gorgeous, but he's better looking than the guy in the secret.

and meth damon is attractive? lmao bye
