...But you don't have to play through it again. You literally just need a save before Asgore's fight to go back to. Load that up after Neutraling and you're good.

But if you kill one person during your playthrough or don't befriend every character you DO have to replay the game and that's annoying...

Then that's your fault for killing them. The game is about consequences of actions. If you don't want to be annoyed, then don't do something you don't like the consequences of.

AYRT: Okay, but that's still annoying? I go into this game and kill a frog in the first level because I don't know anything about how the game works and am testing out the combat system and then suddenly I can't get the true ending and have to replay the entire thing? At that point it's not about the 'consequences of actions' its just annoying

Which is to say, the Yahtzee-version of fake video game morality.

Pick your moral choice at the start, and you're locked in to the way you play the entire rest of the game, with no freedom of choice whatsoever.

Also, assuming you're playing it "clean" without knowing about the Pacifism/Neutral/Genocide runs, then none of this is advertised until very late in the game. So it's a fake moral choice that you'll have screwed up long before you even know it exists.

If anyone says that they got past Tauriel with the Pacifism run intact on their first time sans FAQ, then they are either lying or psychic.

You either FAQ'd from the get-go (in which case, what's the point), or you have to Ghosts 'n Goblins that thing.
