I understand that they're OOC. They're AU versions. I just think how the two of them RP togther is adorable.

Then you can't really say you want an Asch, can you? Because technically, that's not Asch.

Perhaps not the Asch, but that Asch. *shrugs* It was just the clearest way to put it.

I love how people get so hung up over one person's RP representation of a character.

I'm not getting 'hung up' over their representation of a character, obviously ment to be ooc.
I'm just saying that if someone says their a Luke wanting an Asch, even though you didn't really say that, they're like an emotional masochist or something.

Sorry, my mistake.
That would be true if I were refering to the actual game canon, but that's why I didn't use a scene from the game. It's their RP representaion that I kind of hope for. :)

It wasn't that clear, so just for future reference, I suggest you represent it another way.

Well, I think the problem here is how ooc the character is. From what I've seen au is generally still ic. I think that's possibly when the problem arises, especially since myself,

antlia, and probably others didn't note whatever subtle specifications you included that would differentiate this Asch from the canon one.

Asch HATES Luke with a burning passion, I mean sure, they get along at the END of the game but y'know. That's just ridiculous. ~~Considering we can't really tell if they merged or not at the end, that would just be wrong~~

Now, that is a generalization, but it pretty much holds true for that majority of rabid yaoi fangirls.

But yeah, I can see where that's coming from. :x That's so dumb. I'm kind of scared to join any communities to find other people who are into the same thing I am just because of the fangirls. It's like no one can be intelligent, be able to write and debate well from what I've seen without it escalating into A) a mary sue or B) A gay stu or C) A stupid pointless fight about pairings.

D: Though that's mostly FFVII anymore. People get so butthurt over PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT REAL. MY GOD.

That's also why I don't participate in fandom much, I'm waaaay too intimidated by the ratio of crazies to normals.
