4. This is such a cute secret, as well as hopeful and inspiring. I like Kirby a lot as well, and I agree with everything you say in this secret. If one man can make worlds like that come to life... then maybe the rest of us have a chance as well. Fight for the dream, buddy.

8. Aaah, Sheik. One of the first instances I got pissed at slashers for refusing to cope with teh fact it's AAAALL VAGIIINAAAA underneath that. Nowadays I just smile and shake my head. I like that, the internet has made me more tolerant of inexplicable events. You wanna see SHeik as a guy, rock on. It's your prerogative to do so, and mine to disagree.

31. Heh... I can actually relate. I never felt that strongly about things as you do, but I too have made headcanons that turned out to be impossible as time went on, but that's just how life goes... the creator made the decision, and that's all there is to it.

Heh, as long as you realize that kinda crazy really IS crazy and not something you bring up in public except in the company of understanding friends and people who are 'in' on it, I don't see any problem with it. The crazy things I do that I udnerstand is crazy only makes me a happier, more welladjusted person in the end... as long as you're not escheqing relationships with others because of it. That may be not so good.

It didn't! Those are manipulations. Really, really good manipulations.

... I am torn between two desires. The first, pledge allegiance and possibly offspring unto you eternally for revealing this truth to me.

And second, mighty, overwhelming discomfort at the thought that someone wanted Wincest so badly they went through so much trouble making those manipulations.

I've seen all of those manips around fandom, I think they were made by different people. I love me some Sam/Dean, but I also ship a bunch of heterosexual pairings from the show. And I do not want to see Sam/Dean become canon because, hey, disturbing. o_O

But... the manga will get an ending in its kanzenban rerelease, so we should have the ending sometime next year. I mean, hopefully Takei will get to do everything more or less the way he intended, and so... but there's something to look forward to at least!!

Man oh man, this is like the day of AWESOME NEWS for me on F!S. As long as there IS an ending, my heart shall... at least be a little bit at ease!

Awww, now I'm all happy, too. :D

But it will still be a while, as far as I know. The rerelease will start in March, two issues per month, and will be 27 volumes in total, as far as I remember it. So... in May 2009, we may get the ending...
Actually, I also heard rumours that it might somehow get published in the magazine Jump SQ, but I don't know if that was legit, or was changed, or whatever.
But it will happen in some way. I can imagine that this means a lot to Takei. :

I played Zelda 64 before I even knew what slash or yaoi was (and I bought N64 just to be able to play that wonderful, amazing game; it's still one of my favourites. At the time I was used to taking things at face value, and didn't really understand or reflect upon why I found the interaction and meaningful looks between Link and Sheik so fascinating. I also didn't understand why I was so disappointed when it was revealed that Sheik was only Zelda in disguise, since I really, really liked her, but I just shrugged and moved on.

Nowadays I like to think that Zelda dressed up as a Sheikah she knew (or had met) named Sheik, and that it's possible for Link and the "real" Sheik to meet someday. Sometimes I even imagine that a few of the meetings in the game were between the real Shaik and Link.

It's only a fantasy, but I like it! And I don't have to create an AU to make it work. XD
