Well, maybe you're not, but there's at least one here that's trolling on the regular, and since you're both anon you'll have to excuse me for not seeing the difference.

And the word I'm referring to is theory, which is one of those words that gets used badly all the time, because there is a discrepancy between how it's used by people and how it's used scientifically.

Without going into great detail, which I'm too tired for, people who wank about the word "theory" tend to mix it up with "hypothesis", in several contexts.

I'm confident in saying that is a lens / perspective thing and that from different perspectives this would not be the case. The Theory part comes from the possibility that this perspective is not correct.
