Someone I can talk to. Someone who listens. Someone who doesn't feel the need to be in charge all the time. Someone who cares about social issues and helping people. Someone who is more optimistic than me because I need that in my life. Someone who likes cooking because I really hate it. Someone with nice hair. And a nice ass if I'm honest. Someone who also finds me attractive. Someone I'm sexually compatible with.

My list is probably longer, but that's all I can think of after three bottles of hard cider.

And, actually, the list is the same for women as well.

I'd say this sounds mostly right, plus him being a fan, doesn't get upset about slash (even if he doesn't care to read it himself), doesn't mind that I can be a bit of a slob, and like cats. He can like dogs too, as long as he tolerates cats.

Oh, yes, a fan would be good. And someone who likes both cats and dogs because I want both. And yes, a guy who understands fantasy isn't a threat to him and doesn't have weird double standards about girls having them.

Also a guy who understands I'm bi and doesn't have a problem with that, but who also doesn't make it all about him.
