Fucking word. All I want for Christmas is some Force Ghost and/or Meaningful Dream fic, with a side of "oh god our kid is so broken how do we fix it." (Because I will never be convinced that the big bad did not drive that poor kid totally bugfuck nuts).

Have you seen/read the novelization? That basically says Leia knew that her son was force-proficient and was being watched by the dark side but didn't tell Han because he didn't think there was a thing he could do about it? And sent him to Luke to be trained (Well, okay, most of that was outlined in the movie).

A nice, long , drawn out tragedy fic.....hng, someone please, write that, i'm not knowedgeable enough about the minutia of star wars to do it!

...No, I have not seen the novelization. That's. Hm. I don't think Leia would be that dumb, frankly. Oh well, this is what fanfic is for.

And yeah, I have nowhere near enough EU knowledge to pull off reasonable Star Wars fic, but I remember some seriously good tragedy fic based around the Organa-Solo family in the EU, which had something similar happen from what I can tell. (My quest for good Han fic led some strange, strange places, most of which I have unfortunately forgotten.) Hopefully those authors will come wandering back eventually :)

I'm not sure; I only know that SOME website (I forget what it is right now but I know the Mary Sue linked to it? and some Movie website which is how I found it) had it and made the notes.

Also; I saw it in Target and read a few page (I think, if it's the black/red one with the new trio on it?)

I'm not sure. There are two books: one is a prequel to the movie and the the other is the novelization.

I think that's actually the prequel one that has short stories in it.

I'm not sure if it's the same for all amazon versions or depends on the country but I think the ebook version is out while the print version will be published in January?
