Would you say you're hard or easy to gift for?

I think pretty easy? Get me something nerdy and I'll be happy.

Super easy. I make a large list and don't care too much. I'm super excited as long as I know people put thought in to the gift. I'm also an incredibly bubbly person so that helps.

Hard. So hard.

I have a list but I never keep it updated. I hate when people buy gifts for me.

I'd say fairly easy. Most people know to get me books, but some people, especially those who don't also read books, don't always know what books to get, which is why I have two copies of Wuthering Heights and so on. But I think it's cool to get alternate editions of a book, particularly for classics, so I usually don't mind at all.

Easy, but people still get it terribly wrong because people barely know me and simply feel obligated to get me anything and end up getting me some random stuff.

Incredibly hard, because I have everything I want*

This year I was easy as I just couldn't stop talking about my festval plans for summer.

I usually get cash or gift cards. Blankets is a good one, too.

Easy, I like practical and frivolous gifts. When in doubt, socks because I am always losing them and hate wearing old socks.

Easy. Amazon and Barnes & Noble gift cards. But I suppose some people don't know me very well. *shrug*

I used to be super hard to gift, because I never wanted anything for Christmas. I could not think of anything I desired.

Now I feel better and it will be probably a lot easier! I actually had a difficult time to decide between asking for a sewing machine or Animal Crossing New Leaf. I got the sewing machine early and I got as a surprise gift a sewing box to store all the accessories!

I'm pretty easy to shop for. My mom and sister in particular tend to know what sorts of books/music/TV shows I like, so that helps. And if and whenever they've gotten clothes for me, I'm pretty okay with whatever. The only thing they really need to check on is whether or not it's in my size.

And then my relatives usually get me something pretty simple that I can use-a blanket or some bath products or something like that. I don't really get all that fussy about gifts in general.

Objectively easy - get me anything with any of my fandoms on it and I will love it - and I am very open about my fandoms.

Subjectively hard apparently - everyone has some weird feeling of being obligated to think up and hunt down an unexpected gift to totally surprise me with instead of what I tell them I want when they ask me. About 5 years ago I accepted that gift-giving really is more about the person *giving* than receiving. So it doesn't bother me anymore. Now I just wait until after the birthday/holiday just-in-case, then buy it for myself.

Super, super easy

I make a list and price out stuff on Amazon (or provide links where the other stuff can be found). My lists are always super long with a variety of prices so anyone can get me something that fits their budget. And I have general likes of things that I'm always happy to get so it's not too hard to freelance for me (at least if you know me).

Buy me gift cards, get something off my wish-list, or give me money. Easy-peasy.

Easy, I think. I make a wishlist at the end of November, e-mail it out to my family, and ask them to please send me their suggestions for their own presents. Nobody ever does.

Super easy because I will tell people what I would like when they ask me. When I really can't think of something just get me a scarf. I love scarves, I have a drawer full just with scarves as well as a box in my closet. I haven't gotten a scarf yet that I didn't like or found an opportunity to wear.

I was the first one in my family to get an Amazon wishlist. It has made holidays/birthdays so much easier. Basically the only thing I now get asked by my mom is, "What are some colors of COPICS you'd like this year?" So I'll pick about 10-12 colors (so the giver has some options, as availability is variable) and I'll get 4-5 of those for Chanukah and 3-4 more for my birthday in January.

I think I'm pretty dang easy. Gift cards to bookstores will ALWAYS do it.

I'm pretty easy. Everyone knows my candy tastes, most people know my gaming tastes, and my family knows how to satisfy my feminine side.

Hard if you're the sort of person who needs suggestions, since I never actually have suggestions for people when they ask what to buy me. I just don't really want anything most of the time.

In reality just buy me a video game or something for my kitchen/house and I'll be ecstatic though.

Very easy. A box of chocolates is enough for me. Also I usually want some anime merchandise, so my parents give me money to buy it.
