Do you have more fun giving or receiving gifts?

Giving all the way. I love finding the perfect gift for someone and seeing their reaction to it. So much better than getting things.

That about sums up my feelings on the matter as well. It's a great feeling to give just the right gift to someone.

Giving but...I think it's more because I'm insecure and finding the perfect gift is an easy way to make people like you. But on the other hand, my mother was feeling sick and miserable until she opened the blanket I got her and there was real heartwarming Christmas joy there. Just seeing her reaction felt nice.

Giving. I love, love, love giving gifts. That is why I do the reddit gift exchanges and always do the regifter one as well.

I get different kinds of pleasure from each. Giving makes me feel good, especially if it's to someone who's having a hard time. Getting gifts makes me feel good 'cuz I'm always having a hard time. ;p

Giving. I love to see if I guessed correctly about what people would like. And I almost always do, so it's a special experience.

I was definitely pleased about Mum's reaction to the surprise teapot. I only bought it on Xmas Eve and got it to match a couple of teacup sets we already have, and didn't say anything about it when I got home, so Mum didn't notice it until she was going through the gifts to unwrap.
