Re: Most disappointing gift you've ever received?

Last Christmas I got a bible from my Dad. Disappointing because I've been an atheist just about my whole life (& I've also actually owned multiple bibles throughout the years just out of interest so I really didn't need or want another one). A few birthdays ago he gifted me a piece of crappy costume jewelry that I'd asked for FIFTEEN years prior (he loses gifts frequently and then gives them out when he randomly finds them again). The year after that he got me a some kind of card w/access to a website that gave you "deals" (no better then the coupon codes on retailmenot) to stores I never use.

On the other hand he got me an iPhone and symphony tickets two years ago so if anything, he's just a supper inconsistent gift giver.
