You seem to be under the assumption that anyone who demands others celebrate Christmas regardless of faith is 1) serious as hell, and 2) has every intention of killing Jews for not celebrating Christmas. And that anyone who refers to Christmas as secular is okay with murders done in the name of religious hatred.

I'm starting to think that maybe you're the one being the meanie here.

I honestly can't tell if you were born with a serious persecution complex or if you acquired it through repeated encounters with Christmas folks and whatever you were taught. Whether or not you're so goddamn itching for a fight that you'll attach general nonmalicious human ignorance to the historical suffering of your people, and then try to make that your main argument against a comment that had nothing to do with it so that everyone will recognize you as a victim.

Christmas is secular. People around the world celebrate it. But they don't have to. You don't have to. But if you insist it isn't secular, then you're only kidding yourself.

Some people don't recognize that others do not celebrate Christmas for their own reasons, from the mild to the ugly. That is not called being an asshole, it's called being ignorant. It's when Christmas lovers start forcing the holiday on others and punishing them for not celebrating that they become assholes.
