Eh. Hmm. I can see both sides. Like, a fanartist whose work I love just deleted her tumblr recently, and there's some pieces of hers I would've loved to have saved. And I once googled "Masters of the Universe" to check for myself just how similar it was to Fifty Shades of Grey. But if a writer was embarrassed by old work and wanted to rework it or something, it'd be cool if they wanted to upload a new version. I don't think I could pull my stuff, no matter how cringeworthy, in case it turned out to be someone's favorite fic ever. (I don't have much stuff online though and it's all totally anon, maybe if it was hardcore BDSM under my real name and I was running away to join corporate America I'd feel differently.)
