Bastard is completely gender-neutral and it's insulting you would drag that in to try to make your case. Calling a man a dick isn't at all the same--men acting badly in stereotypically male ways doesn't carry remotely the same stigmas as women acting badly in stereotypically female ways. You KNOW this.
