I highly doubt it would tackle most of the subjects you are talking about. Maybe Jon Benet Ramsey and Caylee Anthony, but certainly not the others.

I'm not familiar with this show or the people who make it, but why not? Some of those historical crimes are pretty big ones.

Probably because a lot of the other big ones have already had movies/TV movies/media done about them already? I dunno. It might be that it's just 'old hat'.

If the OJ trial isn't considered "old hat", I doubt that reasoning would disqualify the rest of those cases. The Simpson trial was on practically 24/7 back in the day and it's been dissected to death. People are more likely to be familiar with the details than they would be familiar with say, the Lindbergh baby kidnapping, which was the OJ Simpson trial of its day, but far enough in the past that it's not within recent memory of most people.

Sorry, I meant old hat in the respect that a lot of the mentioned killers/incidents have had 'fictional' or 'truth as fiction' media created around them already, some multiple times, and I was unaware that there'd been an OJ TV movie.

DA, but stories often get told by different people in their own vision. It's possible they might tackle older cases, even if they've been done numerous times before.

Black Dahlia has definitely been covered multiple times, including in video games.

There's been an OJ tv movie before. There was one that centered on Johnnie Cochran that made a big deal about not showing the OJ characters face.
