(Anonymous) 2015-12-27 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)I was thinking the other day... In my fandom, at least, Tumblr is becoming less and less useful with every new upgrade. I don't go there often anymore, but the last time I checked there were all sorts of unrelated things in the tags, and people were expressing discomfort about posting their fic because of how things get sorted and all...
And I wonder where fandom will go next.

(Anonymous) 2015-12-27 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)I also hope there will be a big change in the fandom experience. Tumblr is just exhausting because of people using tags as their soapboxes, tagging hate, and anon harassment. Just a really terrible environment overall.
The tags are a blessing and a curse. They are good because it allows you to see new stuff in relevant tags. Bad because people try to bring their drama into the tags, sometimes unintentionally.
