I never particularly cared for LJ, but I do miss the pre-tumblr era of fandom. Everything was so much fun then. Now it's just a chore. I actually liked everyone having their own little section of fandom with other like-minded people. Tumblr just throws everyone in the same room and there are fights breaking out all the time.

Also tumblr and it's staff are trash that allow clickbait spambots to flood tags of every fandom with thousands of post and doesn't do anything about it for 1-2 days, and when they do finally purge those blogs new ones just pop up a week later. You don't see that kind trash on other sites.
