Re: Am I being dumb for being bothered by this?
(Anonymous) 2015-12-28 12:58 am (UTC)(link)I've never understood people's obsession with others' sex lives. The only things I'd ever show concern about in regards to that issue are that everyone's consenting and being safe, for obvious reasons. Beyond that, whether someone's a virgin until marriage or having threesomes or in a five year monogamous relationship or whatever, I honestly don't care. Go forth and do whatever makes you (general "you") happy.
Like you said, though, it sounds like a maturity issue with her, so yeah, with time perhaps she'll get out of that phase/attitude.
Re: Am I being dumb for being bothered by this?
(Anonymous) 2015-12-28 01:19 am (UTC)(link)Exactly.
As long as everyone's consenting and being safe, I don't care what else someone else does. I have a friend who's recently realized she's bi and has gotten into poly relationships and it seems most of the people she's told are so damn judgmental about it. They're all consenting adults and it seems to work for them, so who gives a damn? I just don't get why people care so much.
