Hell to the yes. There is no more community or cohesion in fandom, and Tumblr is set up so you can't get anyone to talk with you except in brief fragments. Worse, it seems like next to nobody reads or writes good fanfic anymore. If you try writing fic, you can't get any readers to come look at it, and when you put all of that together, I I feel like a goddamn dinosaur. The LJ diaspora was the worst thing that ever happened to fandom. It is a source of constant grief and a profound sense of loss to me.
