This. It's a very popular opinion for film music/Bond music aficionados to dislike them (though the list expands to the likes of Adele, Sheena Easton and Tina Turner, which is understandable, though I quite loved them).


However, I love the a-ha, Duran Duran and the Sam Smith songs. Duran Duran's "A View to a Kill" has a lot of energy that really sets the mood for the movie you're about to see (same goes for a-ha's "The Living Daylights". Both songs has the same amount of energy as Paul McCartney & Wings' "Live and Let Die").

If there's a Bond song that I don't like that much, it's Lulu's "The Man with the Golden Gun".
