It's not just me? I feel like every Netflix movie night gets so awkward. "Okay, they probably have - nope... well, they've gotta have - okay..."

Although maybe that's the problem, really successful movies are harder to acquire release rights to? (Full disclosure, I have no idea how any of that actually works. It was only a few years ago that I learned showrruners don't actually get a say in what gets put online.)

That's pretty much it - studios are really stingy with the deals and digital distribution.

AYRT - Yeah, what I figured. :/ Probably also why there's so many bad netflix movies, studios probably aren't so stingy with the ones that went right to DVD more or less. ;)
