I mean, I'm sure he knows that committing patricide is bad, but someone needs to sit that boy (lol, he's like 30) down and tell him his idol was pretty bad at all that dark side stuff seeing as he betrayed his master in the end and technically turned to the light. (Love the imagery of the burnt helmet. It's white - symbolic of his light side turn, yet Kylo idolizes man who wore the black helmet. I'm too lazy to meta further.).

Based on the novelisation, he actually is aware of Vader's ultimate failing and he doesn't like it. It's very amusing.

Your fave is problematic: Saved his son, killed Darth Sidious.
