I agree. God knows that what's usually just rubbish writing has the potential of becoming truly horrid in the inevitable RL mirror that is quintessential to Hetalia, but on the flipside... the most brilliant stories I've ever read in my fifteen years online have been on the Hetalia kink meme, and they have been brilliant because the writers have utilised that mirror in ways that other fandoms rarely simply cannot.
