Honestly, I don't find that sort of art style the least bit appealing, but I see guys lusting after cartoon girls as no different than girls doing the same with pictures of anime bishi guys that were clearly also intended by the artist to be hot. People will like what they like, I don't see why it should be considered any more or less "acceptable" based on the genders of the people lusting after the characters and/or the characters themselves.

OP, I feel you. But I also think the anime industry itself is to blame for excessive fan service. It's fun every once in a while but I can't watch a show with a non T&A set up that's ALL T&A. The anime Freezing, for example: It hits multiple kink buttons for me and kills them at the same time because the story doesn't warrant boob shots every thirty seconds. It's embarrassing.

I wish there were more fan-service shows that would just openly fess up to being about perving out on female bodies and not anything else. Those shows are fun and sometimes can still have messages that go a little deeper than bewbs r hot n fun.
