There is so much I dislike about this aesthetic. I just find it unpleasantly bizarre to look at and also, I hate the whole "fair haired angel" character type (which, if I had to guess, is what the small guy is).

Pretty much right on the personality. It's made a bit worse by the fact that the bigger of the two rapes the smaller one, before it devolves into kind of letting that part completely slide in favor of "misunderstood" and "true love" eventually. I was only able to read some of it, despite the art being nice, because of this lack of acknowledgment.

I figured that was the case. I like BL/yaoi but only from specific writers because the genre is rife with rape-is-love cliches. Most popular titles are like that, I find.

Yeah. I don't get squicked by rape, but I have never really been comfortable with reading or watching things where it's "okay" or turns into real love, because it's just so unrealistic.

Give me fluff instead! Or something.

I feel you. I hate when they act like rape or coercion is a SIGN of love. It's really common.

I never finished watching it (so it might have happened in a later episode), but in the OAVs Kanou attempts to rape Ayase but is dissuaded.

I think he rapes him in the second episode and is then confused/surprised that Ayase's scared of him.
