They've said nothing about it! They completely ignore the Android user portion of their fanbase, while continuing to plug the app for anyone with an iphone.

What happened was, they said one day "We're making an app!"

Then one day they said "Get ready! App coming in 5, 4, 3, 2..."

Then the day of launch arrived and they said "Download on iTunes."

Android users were crushed, and remained so, and have continuously asked since then "When can we play? Can we get some hope? Can you tell us ANYTHING" and they have been 100% ignored while the app continues to be promoted occasionally on the show and frequently on social media.

A major announcement was announced recently, which prompted the secret. And that announcement was ... that you can now earn points in game, to buy trivia packs to add on to the game.

Android users: But when do we get to play?

To add, at the original time of the launch, they said "Download on iTunes, Android coming soon." And they said that a couple more times. And then they never said the word "Android" again.

Oh I see. I can understand that, I'd be pretty upset too if I was an Android user and they hyped it up like that. Maybe they're trying to keep it a surprise, or something went wrong with the Android release? :/ If I were in your position, I would probably cling to that hope, since it has happened that a programme I wanted on Mac was announced that there would be a release, and then it was cancelled, and then it was suddenly released out of the blue. But I think it's still kind of ... lacking in tact to hype an app release and do that.

I understand a lot of people are upset that it wasn't released simultaneously, and they have reason to be. I wouldn't mind a long wait if they would just SAY something about it, throw a bone, at least acknowledge that the problem exists. Any time they put something about the app on Twitter, the post is flooded with Android comments that go unanswered. It's so, so shitty.
