Re: Anyone else tired of repetitive gender wars wank?

The latter has worked with 6 out of 6 litters so far. Even the one that I had to hand-raise because their eyes weren't open yet. In the beginning you need to wipe their bums with a cloth to make them pee and poop, but once they got old enough, they understood the concept of a litterbox immediately.

Because it works on a cat's natural instinct to bury their waste. Dogs don't have a natural instinct to tell their owners they have to be taken outside.

Google it. many people have problems with cats not knowing how to use a litterbox.

I know. I've asked my vet because I volunteer for a cat rescue and that's one of the questions that comes up in a lot of adoption interviews. More often than not, it's not that the cat "doesn't know" how to use a litterbox. Either the litter is of a type/scent the cat doesn't like, or there's a medical issue somewhere (UTI, crystals, injury that makes climbing in/out of the box difficult, etc.).
