He was kind of a gross dude, he beat both of his wives.

Of less importance but he was like the only Beatle who didn't go vegetarian+whatever spiritual stuff they got into, though he publicly claimed to.

I don't remember if he beat them, but I have read that he was pretty difficult to be around in the late 1960's when he was using a lot. Massive control freak, super jealous from marijuana-induced paranoia, stuff like that.
