lol agreed. I've been a slash fan in both anime (or Japanese) fandoms, and Western, and they are the same damn thing.

True. They are pretty similar when it comes to fanfic content.

I've seen yaoi's seme/uke trope used in western shipping a lot too. I vaguely remember there was some huge fandom drama with JohnLock and the johnlock conspiracy having something to do with fandom division over who 'tops'? I wasn't in that fandom but even I heard about it.

I imagine it's the same shit in all fandoms.
