Suppose you could go for doujinshis since they have a little more plot to 'em.

I have tried searching for them! Tiger and Bunny fandom has some decent ones, and I've seen a couple of really nice Kuroko no Basuke ones, but in KnB fandom my ships aren't popular so there wasn't much to look at.

That's a good suggestion, though! Don't believe I ever thought to look for Samurai Flamenco doujinshi, but now I want to.
