How about the horrible, disgusting way Sean treats Gus and the fact that Gus just takes it because he's too meek/dependant/messed-up or something to get away from that.
You can call it cute and say they stay with each other because of friendship, but honestly, I've yet to see Sean do one single thing to/for Gus that would actually be an act of friendship, without spoiling it or doing it for his own gain in secret.
It's disturbing and terrifying.

Do WHAT now? Wow, your interpretation of that relationship is fucked up. I don't know where you get that Gus just "takes" anything, because (especially in the second season), he's always retaliating, sometimes physically, and then some. My best friends and I rag on each other constantly and definitely not nicely; does this mean we're meek or messed up because we don't berate each other? It's just a dynamic some people have.

Maybe your skin is just that thin.

I really like the show but I do agree with this. I think that they're toning it down, though. We see more character development in Season 2 with Gus standing up to Shawn, Shawn starting to do things for him, etc. I was worried for a time because it *was* disturbing but I'm glad I stuck with the show.
