I can relate... I used to have a friend who would keep texting, etc and plainly not paying attention to movies that she knew were my favorites and that I was specifically showing them to her so we could enjoy them together. I always made a point to patiently watch everything she picked, too.

That turned out to be one among many examples where, on the surface, she claimed to be super good friends with me but never actually considered my feelings with any of the dumb shit she did.
