If we are talking about kids, then yes, let them watch it. My 9 years old self loved TPM, it's a great kids movie.

Seriously? Seriously asking, what did you like other than Jar Jar and the fact that a little boy was in it? I (a SW fanatic) couldn't even understand TPM, much less enjoy it. I thought the original Star Wars (ANH) was a great kids movie--the plot and its elements are immediately familiar and yet set in an exotic location, it's exciting, it's funny. I don't see any of that in TPM. Admittedly it's been a long time since I've seen TPM but what did you love about it at 9?

Huh. I was eleven when TPM came out and it bored the hell out of me.
