Strangely, I actually liked that the Jedi Order had so many issues in the prequels. Like, I'd always felt so bad for Luke--last of the old, first of the new, running around the galaxy trying to dig up scraps of knowledge about being a jedi--but after the prequels I felt more like "It's better to be free of all that baggage and tradition, although the MEANS of it going away sucked"
